another view of Senator Mccain, war hero or victim?
Senator McCain.
He identified himself as the son of the Admiral in charge of PacFleet when
he was shot down in order to get special medical
attention for his
injuries and was taken to a hospital in Hanoi
instead of being thrown in a
bamboo cage like other POWS.
Then he signed confession of war crimes and made
radio spots for the North
Vietnamese telling our guys to surrender etc. etc. etc.
This was in the day when all you were allowed to
tell them was name rank
and serial number.
He turned down repatriation several times
because he was facing life in Leavenworth at best.
Then his Daddy made Joint Chiefs of Staff and got them to change the rules so his son wouldn't spend life in prison or be executed.
As soon as Daddy got the rule changed he took the next repatriation and came home. McCain is one of the biggest traitors America ever had.
