MSNBC host admits to being 'a socialist'
Keith Olbermann got suspended without pay for donating to political candidates, but there has been no action taken so far against host Lawrence O'Donnell for admitting on Morning Joe that he is indeed a socialist. Glenn called this over a year ago - that the masks would start coming off the radical progressives who have been operating in the shadows for decades. Glenn plays the audio of an MSNBC host confirming what most already believed.

God And Man At Yale: 50Th Anniversary Edition
This book was referenced by the Fox news show tracing the conservative
political movement from the depression to present day politics.
This seminal work of one of the most courageous conservative thinkers of the 20th and 21st centuries laid the groundwork on which numerous other media voices built. He describes how it all started when he was an undergraduate at Yale University from 1946-1950. He writes from his conscious. Buckley is precise in describing how he felt traditional American values were being ignored, undermined, and distorted by academics. He makes his case by citing specific classes, instructors, and textbooks. In the revised edition he brings readers up to date on how critics and the public responded when the book originally came out. Buckley earned the right to be the quintessential role model for conservatives because of his courage and gift of clearly communicating his argument in a logical manner. There are no ad hominem fallacies here or in any of his writings. He confronts issues head on. He even discusses his motive for writing the book by saying it is tied to his love for his alma mater and the country in general. By that he means his desire is for constructive change. It is in pointing out the errors that he hopes to achieve the positive resolutions he seeks. Buckley has remained a voice worthy of an audience in the marketplace of ideas for decades. This is the book that launched him and it is worth reading at any point in time.
In 1951, a twenty-five-year old Yale graduate published his first book, which exposed the extraordinarily irresponsible educational attitude that prevailed at his alma mater. This book rocked the academic world and catapulted its young author, William F. Buckley Jr., into the public spotlight.

Backlash against Fed's $600 billion QE2 builds
Backlash against Fed's $600 billion QE2 builds
GLENN: But because of quantitative easing, and let me give you the warning yesterday, from the Chinese, the unbridled printing of dollars is the biggest risk to the global economy. This is according to an advisor of the Chinese Central Bank. He said: Quote as long as the world issues no restraint in global currencies such as the dollar and this is not easy, then the occurrence of the crisis is inevitable as quite a few westerners lament." So what does that mean? Most people don't understand when you read these headlines on the drudge report today. Oil above 87 -- I'm sorry, oil at $87. Backlash builds against Feds pumping. Dollar at risk of crashing, triggering inflation. Brazil ready to retaliate for U.S. move in currency war. Chinese warns Fed move is a huge risk. Germany concerned. Most people don't understand what any of that means. I'm going to be cryptic here, because I cannot tell you the names of the people involved, because I don't have the permission of all of the people involved to tell you this story. But you know me. You know me well enough to know that I'm not talking to -- I'm not talking to fringe players. I am talking to people -- when I have told you things about TARP, when I've told you things, it is because I have enough contacts with people who are not peripheral players but players that have been in these rooms as things have happened. Yesterday I had a conversation with somebody. And I had a conversation with somebody who two weeks ago wouldn't have believed me. And this is a -- help me out here, guys -- this is an individual who.
STU: Very well connected.
GLENN: Very well connected.
PAT: Knows people in financial circles at upper levels.
GLENN: And has a history that you would know, that you would recognize. And is in the know. Is in the game with the highest levels. She came to me and she said to me yesterday that, after the TV show -- and I have been teasing this chart that is being built for tonight's television show, that shows in 15 days, not the next 15 days, in any given 15-day period.
PAT: After some major event.
GLENN: Major event, a 9/11 happens, a big event or China. And this is the event we use. China just says we're not going to buy any more of America's debt. Now, it could be -- the event could be the Congress and the republicans keep to their promise and do not raise the debt ceiling. That's a big enough event to trigger this. From the day that event happens, it will take about 13 days for the world to change as you know it. And when I say that, I mean everything changes. Global catastrophe. Global panic. What I told you three years ago, four years ago was coming, three years ago when it started to happen and they were talking about TARP, was that three years ago? I think it was. Wasn't it?
STU: Two, right?
GLENN: Two years? When that started to happen, I told you we're headed for a mountain and we're going to crash into the mountain. You've got to prepare. What they're trying to do with TARP was take us down into the trees. Well, they have prepared. Again, the question is, have you? What happens? China says we're not going to buy any more bonds. The world freaks. And in the few days, the Fed comes in and they say: We're going to raise rates. We're going to raise the yield on bonds. So you can make a lot of money. Everybody buy bonds. What happens? Europe raises them faster than we do, because as soon as people lose confidence in our bonds, the rest of the world says: Wait a minute, wait a minute, buy us. So they start competing. Pour your money here. Everybody is competing. Gold is competing. Food is competing. Everything is competing for all these dollars that are now no longer going to go into bonds. And so the world gets spooked. And it lasts about a week. Then things just start coming apart at the seams. And Asia starts to crash. The Asian markets crash. The European markets crash. The Dow crashes. I mean, we're talking about serious crashes.
PAT: And this person said that a week ago they wouldn't have believed any of this scenario, right?
GLENN: Listen to my monologue. Listen to me explain it over the last couple of days what quantitative easing means and what it means to your food prices, and then laying out on the board, which I have in the last couple of days, what's coming tonight, I'm going to show you this tonight, I'll show you this 15-day scenario. She said she was in a room and she said there were three speakers there. And these were -- how would you describe these three speakers?
PAT: Heavy weights. Financial heavy weights.
GLENN: Heavy weights. Governmental and outside financial heavy weights.
STU: Non-partisan. Not a partisan group.
GLENN: Yes, people who have been -- people who are viewed as keels, wouldn't you say?
STU: If I knew what you meant by "keels," then yes.
GLENN: An even steady keel of a ship.
STU: Even keel?
GLENN: Yes.
STU: That's what that means. I just knew even keel meant even. I went with the even part of keel.
GLENN: Something that keeps the ship upright. Somebody that's not one side or the other. They're just right down the center.
PAT: Even keeled people.
STU: People paid a lot of money to make sure they're making measured decisions.
GLENN: Very measured. First one gets up and they're having this little breakfast and the first one gets up and says, hey, I want to tell you what I think is coming. She says -- we're all sitting around going: You gotta be kidding me. She said the next person gets up and says -- it's actually a little worse than what he said. She said -- she said now the real guy, who is like rock solid, nobody, everybody in the room was expecting him to get up and say: These guys, I disagree with. Instead he got up and he said: It may not happen that way, but there's a good shot that this stuff happens. And people have to be prepared.
STU: You might expect me to disagree with these two.
GLENN: Yes. But I can't disagree with them. I think there's a chance that this stuff happens. And people must be prepared.
PAT: And this guy said it wasn't inevitable, right? But there's a good shot.
GLENN: I'm not saying it's inevitable either. I'm just saying that these things are growing, growing concerns. What people said about they would never -- they testified a year ago that they would never buy their own debt and they testified under oath. They're doing it in historic records.
PAT: Because these things are possible, this is why you're shining the light on it, not to fear monger, but to get people -- I've always disagreed with the world renowned FDR statement: We have nothing to fear but fear itself. What does that even mean? We have nothing to fear but being unprepared. If you are prepared, you need not fear anything, because you've got something -- you've got a fall-back position.
GLENN: You don't have to worry about -- you don't have to worry about your retirement if you prepared for your retirement.
PAT: Right. What's scary is retiring and you've got nothing. You're looking around thinking I've got Social Security, 900 a month?
GLENN: If you've put nest eggs away and you're not in great debt, because you prepared for the possibility of unemployment, you don't fear unemployment.
PAT: So how do you get prepared in something like this? You get food.
GLENN: You buy food.
PAT: If nothing happens, good.
GLENN: The thing we do know is coming is inflation on food. You'll have deflation in some things and inflation wherever there's a hard commodity. Oil. So that means your tires are going to be more expensive. That means anything made with an oil-based product.
STU: Which is everything.
GLENN: Which is everything, that is going to be more expensive. Gold is going to be more expensive. But wheat, flour, sugar. Sugar has gone up like 58 percent in three months, did you know that.
STU: No. How much?
GLENN: Like 58 percent.
STU: Has it really?
GLENN: But the price of sugar hasn't. The commodity sugar has. So what's happened here is what you're paying for on the shelf has not been passed on to you yet. And all of these producers, they know -- they've been holding on and they're like, okay, I can't -- I'm General Mills, I'm hoping this is going to pass. We'll eat it for a while because, for instance, if we pass on this then it's going to hurt the restaurants and everything else. And the restaurants are going to -- they're going to have to pass it on to their customers. Everybody's been holding on as much as they can because people start to hold onto their money tighter and that makes things worse. General Mills just came out and said, it's, what, a five percent increase in cereal. This is before the quantitative easing. Five percent increase in cereal. Sugar is now going up I think 10, 12, or 18 percent. All of these things are really starting to climb in price. The best case scenario is it's going to be more expensive to buy food and gasoline and oil-based products in the coming months. Tonight I will show you catastrophic collapse and what it means. In 15 days from an event, a 9/11, let's be crazy and let's say somebody sends packages with bombs all around the world and planes fall out of the sky.
STU: That would never happen, come on.
GLENN: I know. A catastrophic event, and how it leads in 15 days to a new world order. This woman said -- she came up to me yesterday and said: A week ago, a week ago I wouldn't have believed you. But I sat in this meeting and these guys said that's what's coming. They think it's a possibility that's really coming. We all sat there with our mouths open. Now, no one will tell you these things because they believe that, oh, well, it's crazy and the people are too stupid, they'll panic. No you won't. You panic when you don't have information. You panic when you can't see what's around the corner.
PAT: You panic when it's too late to do anything about it.
GLENN: Exactly right.
PAT: That's why this is so important.
GLENN: It's not too late to do anything. Because you -- and I've said this to you now for a long time. You must be a leader. You must be a leader, because there will be people that will pull us apart. We must stay together.

Rep Barney Frank is sweating his re election this term ?
You may have read the extraordinary news that Barney Frank felt he had to personally loan his own campaign fund $200,000, adding to the almost $3 million he had raised from fat-cat donors.
This means he’s sweating. He’s worried he could lose. Believe it or not, Barney Frank could lose his seat.
He’s in trouble because he’s the poster child for the mortgage mess and the housing collapse.
Don't forget it was Barney Frank who, as chairman of the Banking Committee in 2007, continued to push for easy mortgage rules — even for people who couldn’t afford them and had no business getting mortgages.
In fact, the evidence shows that Frank prevented oversight and regulation of the mortgage business — setting the stage for the massive economic meltdown we have been living through.
As one of the most powerful Democratic members of Congress, Barney Frank did absolutely nothing to rein in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
This ended in disaster, causing caused misery beyond description.
When Bill O’Reilly grilled him about this on his show, he hemmed and hawed and then he just shouted. But the Barney Frank story gets even worse.
What I am about to tell you is simply astounding.
As chairman of the powerful House Financial Services Committee, Barney Frank was actually in charge of overseeing Wall Street.
After helping create the whole housing and mortgage collapse, then became the architect of the infamous $700 billion Wall Street bailout!
Remember — this was a time that folks like you and I on Main Street got no help at all as our housing values and stock portfolios plummeted and folks all over the country lost their jobs, businesses, and homes.
But now it really gets sick.
I recently discovered who actually is donating to Frank's campaign fund.
Lo and behold, the big donors to Barney Frank’s campaign are from big Wall Street and financial services companies!
Frankly, this isn’t a matter of partisan politics. It’s a matter of honesty.
Barney Frank is running scared because he’s been caught!
Even in liberal Massachusetts Barney Frank is on the ropes. Let’s knock him down for the count.
That’s what Super PAC for America aims to do, funds permitting.
Our powerful TV ads are working!
When we started Super PAC for America, no one was predicting that more than 50 Democrats would lose their seats in Congress. The influential Cook Political Report now predicts 60 or more.
Some Washington insiders are telling me that as many as 75 Democrats could be defeated and that a total of 113 Democrats are vulnerable!
This is like a live auction. Do I hear a bid for 100?
The more you give, the more damaged trees we can chop down.
We’re almost up to the $4 million mark. For each extra $1 million we raise, we can beat seven more Democrats!
I must make additional ad buys for this weekend, the Super Bowl weekend for congressional politics!

Senator Chuck Schumer anxoius to replace Harry Reid
With Harry Reid in serious danger of losing re-election on Tuesday, Democrats are naturally wondering who might replace him as the party's top leader in the Senate should he not return to Washington.
It's no secret that Chuck Schumer desperately wants the job, and today, the New York Times examines the senior New York senator's attempts to quietly position himself as Reid's successor. In perhaps the only time the word "subtly" has ever been used to describe the brash attention-getting Schumer, the Times notes that he has been doing everything he can to help out fellow Dems in need — contributing cash, headlining campaign events — in the hopes that they'll remember him when it comes time to elect party leaders in the next Congress.
There's just one problem: Schumer isn't alone in his leadership ambitions. Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin, Reid's current No. 2 and, perhaps most awkwardly, Schumer's D.C. roommate, also has designs on the job (and, as we noted months ago, the support of the White House).

The Coming Insurrection by the Invisible Committee as mentioned on Glenn Beck
here are some Editorial Reviews on The Coming Insurrection "This is quite possibly the most evil thing I’ve ever read."
Glenn Beck, Fox News / Glenn Beck Program
"For culture jammers, anarchists and malcontents everywhere, The Coming Insurrection is a bracing tonic – an elegant and inspiring call to arms."
— Kono Matsu, Adbusters
"...without a doubt the most thought-provoking radical text to be published in the past ten years. It deserves to be read and discussed."
— Daniel Miller, New Statesman
"Any book indirectly responsible for massive raids involving helicopters and anti-terrorist police, a splenetic Fox News broadcast and an impromptu book-reading at a Barnes / Noble bookshop in New York (also attended by the police) must have something going for it. And so it is with The Coming Insurrection, the kind of political pamphlet last fashionable in the 17th century (and perhaps for a period in the 1960s and ‘70s)."
Nina Power, Frieze Magazine
"I am not calling for a ban on this book. It’s important that you read this book. [...] And let me tell you something: Don’t dismiss these people. Don’t dismiss them."
Glenn Beck, Fox News

CLINT Eastwood doesn’t like Barack Obama
CLINT Eastwood doesn’t like Barack Obama!
During an interview with American news anchor Katie Couric, the legendary actor and director said that while the President is a “nice fella,” he’s “not a fan of what he’s doing at the moment.”
Eastwood said Obama is not “governing” and he’s laying out lines in the hopes that people will believe him “so he can stay in his position.”
Eastwood, who was once the Mayor of Carmel, Calif., expressed his view on the political election process.
“I don’t think there’s anybody I see out there, or many people that have that kind of discipline, that are willing to take a chance on losing,” he said.
Eastwood — who turned 80 earlier this year — recently admitted he’s “become tired” of seeing himself on the big screen.
“I leave that to younger actors now,” he said. “I’m not a prize fighter who has to capture another victory. Since I worked as a director for the first time on Play Misty for Me in 1970 I’ve become tired of seeing myself on the big screen.
“That doesn’t mean I’m going to stop acting, though”

Voter fraud in Yuma Arizona for Raul Grijalva ? another ACORN trick
Voter fraud in Yuma Arizona for Raul Grijalva ?
The Yuma Sun is reporting that two organizations — Mi Familia Vota and One Vote Arizona — submitted more than 3000 voter registrations in Yuma County, and more than 20,000 voters statewide. Even more, they have signed up 43,000 people statewide for the permanent early voter list.
What they didn’t tell you is that voter fraud on a massive scale could be taking place, ostensibly to help Raul Grijalva keep the congressional seat he holds by stealing the election.
Here’s what the article doesn’t tell you, by a source in the Yuma County Recorder’s Office:
These 3000 voter registration forms were all dropped off at once by the one group on the deadline to turn in voter registration forms.
Almost all of the registrations were for the Democratic Party, a statistical improbability at best.
Today, these same 3000 newly registered voters — as a group — had papers dropped off at the Yuma Recorder’s office requesting to be signed up for the permanent early voters list… which means the ballots will be mailed early, with no accountability.
The Yuma Recorder’s office is checking the voter registration forms and have found that already more than 65% of them are invalid due to the registrant not being a citizen, wrong/invalid address, false signature, etc. Mi Familia Vota is a wholly-owned SEIU sub-organization. It is just as “non-partisan” as ACORN was before documented fraudulent behaviors finally killed it.
Hunter Cantor’s Corner documented Mi Familia Vota’s ties to the radical SEIU:

What did Raul Grijalva spend his money on? He ate it
What did Raul Grijalva spend his money on? He ate it.
What did Raul Grijalva spend his money on? He ate it.
Rep. Raul Grijalva had raised over $550,000 for his campaign, and yet as of August 4th, he had less than $80,000 cash on hand. What happened to all that money? To date, Mr. Grijalva hasn’t run any television advertising. He hasn’t flooded the district with mailers or radio. So where did all that money go? He ate it.
At the end of the last filing period, Rep. Grijalva reported spending $90,959 on food and entertainment. In addition, Mr. Grijalva had spent $104,849 for professional fundraising services. That’s more than 35 percent of his total campaign contributions wasted on fundraising and fancy dinners.
Most professional fundraisers charge 5 to 10 percent for their services, Mr. Grijalva paid close to 20 percent for those services. And while buying dinner for your staff and volunteers as well as providing food at fundraising events is common on the campaign trail, it’s unheard of for a major campaign to spend nearly a sixth of their total contributions on food and entertainment.
“A half million dollars in Southern Arizona can go a long way,” noted Ruth McClung. “So, frankly, we’re glad that Mr. Grijalva decided to waste more than a third of his donor’s money on unproductive spending. Although I suppose for anyone familiar with Rep. Grijalva’s profligate waste of taxpayer funds, this should come as no surprise.”
Rep. Grijalva has never shown much respect for the money hardworking taxpayers are forced to give to the government each year. He’s voted for just about every reckless spending program cooked up in Washington, turned more than his share of pork on the spit, and now he’s advocating for an additional $50 billion federal stimulus program.
“The simple fact is that Arizonans cannot trust this man with their money,” McClung continued. “He’s a career politician who has never had to worry where his next paycheck was going to come from.” McClung paused, “Well, at least until now.”
It is this kind of disconnect from hardworking families that allows Mr. Grijalva to casually block the Superior, AZ Mine project which enjoys significant local support, and would create an estimated 6,000 direct and indirect jobs. People are out of work, families are struggling to put food on the table, and Raul Grijalva is spending tens of thousands of dollars entertaining his friends at the National Democratic Club.
Mr. Grijalva even managed to spend $4,807 in one night at Bedroxx, a Tucson bowling ally. We all love bowling, and Bedroxx is a fantastic place to take your family for a night of fun.
So we have to ask Mr. Grijalva one question: how many frames does $4,807 get you?

Raul Grijalva fakes “terrorist attack” to cover up Yuma voter fraud story
Raul Grijalva fakes “terrorist attack” to cover up Yuma voter fraud story
Here is a perfect example of political cynicism from the gangster Congressman in Arizona’s 7th District.
Just hours after the Yuma Sun reports that 3000 voter registrations had been dumped at the Yuma County Recorder’s Office by a group affiliated with the SEIU (with most of them subsequently found to be fraudulent), Raul Grijalva’s office received a suspicious package covered in swastikas with a white powder inside.
Now the story about the suspicious package — the “terrorist attack” as Grijalva puts it — has gone national, and the voter fraud story has gone unnoticed by the mainstream media. How convenient, right?
Raul Grijalva part-time staffer Emily Romero has repeatedly bragged to Democratic insiders that the campaign concocts these threats to take attention away from bad publicity. In this case, the campaign decided to fake a “terrorist attack” on themselves to cover up the story of voter fraud that had just broken.
What is most interesting is that the DCCC reported the suspicious package to the media long before the local authorities were even told about the situation. Plus, one has to ask, how does an envelope marked with swastikas and full of white powder make it successfully through the postal system these days?
It is unlikely that Grijalva will be able to steal this election from Ruth McClung, however. Sources say that a team of lawyers and election integrity experts is already been assembled to challenge illegal registrations and ballots cast in all of Southern Arizona’s counties.
Voters are being made aware that Grijalva and his allies are attempting to steal the election and that the integrity of the results could be in question.
Watch out, folks. This could be a bumpy ride.

Grijalva Complains About Outside Money: Is He Going to Return It?
Grijalva Complains About Outside Money: Is He Going to Return It?
Tucson, AZ -- Rep. Raul Grijalva has been complaining lately about all the "outside" money pouring into Arizona's 7th Congressional District. Yet today the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee announced yet another ad buy against his opponent, Ruth McClung. Even Mr. Grijalva's own money is mostly coming from outside of Arizona.
As first published by Politico, Mr. Grijalva recently reported raising $75,500 in a matter of days-with barely 20 percent of that money ($15,400) coming from sources in Arizona.
"It's not surprising that Mr. Grijalva is having trouble raising money here in Arizona," said McClung. "Maybe if he hadn't boycotted his own state, people would still have money to give him."
Mr. Grijalva's recent fundraising does raise some eyebrows. Since he's been so vocal in his objections to campaign contributions from outside of Arizona: when is he planning to return all that cash?

Winners Never Cheat by Jon Huntsman
Winners Never Cheat: Even in Difficult Times, New and Expanded Edition
The man who revolutionized the world by giving it the plastic spoon, fork, knife and Styrofoam take-out food container will once again change how you live your life. I can say that because that’s what happened to me after reading Jon Huntsman’s Winners Never Cheat.
In today’s world where it increasingly appears that we can’t trust our political or business leaders, this book is an unwavering reminder that traditional values never go out of style and are as essential today as they were forty years ago when Jon Huntsman launched a small chemical business that he grew into the world’s largest privately held chemical corporation. Jon Huntsman doesn’t like to be called a billionaire. He’s uncomfortable with that title. I’m convinced he also doesn’t like being one either because he’s committed to giving away his hard-earned fortune—not after he dies, but during his lifetime. I believe in this book’s message and its messenger. I have never in my life purchased any book by the case, except for this one. I give a copy to my friends who mistakenly believe that business can no longer be done with a look in the eye and a handshake. Many of the problems and much of the pain we’re currently experiencing on Wall Street and Washington could have been avoided if those we trusted with our money and our power lived what’s taught in these pages.
If you’re looking for success, read this book. If you’re wondering if you can be successful while staying true to your core principles, read this book. If you’re wondering, like so many are, if capitalism has a bright future, read this book. I have and it’s changed my life.

Glenn Beck Sparks Record Donations To Chamber of Commerce
By Paul Bedard
Share ThisFox News host Glenn Beck's eyebrow-raising $10,000 donation to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's campaign to help mostly Republican pro-business candidates sparked a record-breaking flood of small donor support to the Washington institution.
During his October 14 his radio broadcast, Beck said, "I would like to have this [be] the largest day of fundraising for the Chamber of Commerce ever." It was.
[See a photo gallery of Beck's Restoring Honor Rally.]
By the end of the day, after Beck announced his donation, linked the chamber fundraising campaign, and interviewed Chamber executive vice president for government affairs and top lobbyist Bruce Josten, the chamber raked in over $312,000, a history-making tally for the group. According to chief spokesman Tom Collamore, the Beck-inspired money bomb "was the single largest day of online fund raising that we've ever had." He said that over 7,000 made donations, for a rough average of $44 each, crashing the Chamber's Internet server.
The Chamber tells Washington Whispers that the donations encouraged by Beck came in through their Web site dedicated to helping small businesses, and the Friends of the Chamber Web site.
Beck's donation came after President Obama and dozens of Democratic leaders assailed the chamber for its political activities, charging that it was using funds from foreign corporate members to run ads against Democrats. They are also displeased with the chamber's refusal to reveal donors. The chamber says that it doesn't have to reveal donors and adds that it has complied with all laws barring foreign money from being used for domestic political activities.
