Congressman Raul Grijalva has represented the people of Arizona in the 7th district since 2002.  The redistricting process following the 2010 census now makes Rep. Grijalva the incumbent for the new 3^rd congressional district serving the people of southern Arizona.
Currently, Rep. Grijalva co-chairs the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC), the largest membership organization within the Democratic Caucus in the U.S. Congress with as many as 76 members, founded in 1991.  He is also an Advisory Board Member for the “Progressive Democrats of America” (PDA), an organization founded in 2004.  The goals of both the CPC and PDA are to take the Democratic Party further to the left in domestic and foreign policy.  Their mission and goals are to advance “progressive” liberal issues and positions.

Disturbingly, the mission and goals of the CPC and PDA sound remarkably similar to the desires of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA).  Let’s take a closer look at the platforms for each of these groups:
CPC’s “The Progressive Promise”: Fairness for all.  Here are their four core principles:
1.  Fighting for Economic Justice and Security in the U.S. and Global Economies
2.  Protecting and Preserving Civil Rights and Civil Liberties
3.  Promoting Global Peace and Security
4.  Advancing Environmental Protection & Energy Independence

Here are a few excerpts from these core principles…

“To uphold the right to universal access to affordable, high quality healthcare for all…to preserve guaranteed Social Security benefits for All Americans…to ensure working families can live above the poverty line and with dignity by raising and indexing the minimum wage…to ensure enforcement of all legal rights in the workplace…to eliminate all forms of discrimination based upon color, race, religion, gender, creed, disability, or sexual orientation”.

Here are a few excerpts from the CPUSA’s Constitution:

“Our party fights for jobs and economic security, a decent and rising standard of living…health care, education, affordable housing, the needs of seniors, democracy, and a fulfilling life for everyone, with socialism as our goal”.

Socialism.  How could we forget the comments made by Rep. Maxine Waters, member of the CPC, to the president of Shell Oil during a House hearing back in May 2008.  View video here

“And guess what this member would be all about?  This member would be all about socializing, uh [pauses for several moments]…would be about [pause] basically taking over, and the government running all of your companies.”

Here is another excerpt from the CPUSA’s Constitution that seems to be consonant with the desires of Rep. Maxine Waters.

“Only through the abolition of the capitalist system and the socialist reorganization of society can exploitation of human beings by others, and the evils of oppression, war, racism, environmental degradation, and poverty be ended…the working class as the necessary leading force along with the other core forces – who united together have the power to make fundamental progressive change”.

There’s that popular word “progressive,” right there in the Constitution of the CPUSA.  Let’s look at why Progressive Democrats of America was formed in 2004.  Taken right from their home page, their statement reads:

“Progressive Democrats of America was founded in 2004 to transform the  Democratic Party and our country. We seek to build a party and government controlled by citizens, not corporate elites-with policies that serve the broad public interest, not just private interests. As a grassroots PAC operating inside the Democratic Party, and outside in movements for peace and justice, PDA played a key role in the stunning electoral victories of November 2006 and 2008.  Our inside/outside strategy is guided by the belief that a lasting majority will require a revitalized Democratic Party built on firm progressive principles.”

As the furthest-left member of Congress, Rep. Raul Grijalva has made it clear, though his statements, votes, and actions, that he believes in many of the same goals and tactics in obtaining these goals, as do those in the CPUSA.  Recently, at an event in Tucson where Grijalva was giving a speech in celebration of winning his primary race for CD3 on August 28, 2012, Grijalva said the following:

“So this is the beginning, on the legislative level, and the state, and congressional level… to begin to fundamentally change the political culture of this state…and I am so excited to participate in that process [pause]…we feel that Arizona and the district that I intend to represent is going to be pivotal in beginning to change the culture of this state.”

The Crusades were a series of religious expeditionary wars blessed by Pope Urban II and the Catholic Church, with the stated goal of restoring Christian access to the holy places in and near Jerusalem. Jerusalem was and is a sacred city and symbol of all three major Abrahamic faiths (Judaism, Christianity and Islam).^[1] The background to the Crusades was set when the Seljuk Turks decisively defeated the Byzantine army in 1071 and cut off Christian access to Jerusalem. The Byzantine emperor, Alexis I feared that all Asia Minor would be overrun. The crusaders comprised military units of Roman Catholics from all over western Europe, and were not under unified command. The main series of Crusades, primarily against Muslims in the Levant, occurred between 1095 and 1291. Historians have given many of the earlier crusades numbers. After some early successes, the later crusades failed and the crusaders were defeated and forced to return home. Several hundred thousand soldiers became Crusaders by taking vows;^[3] the Pope granted them plenary indulgence. Their emblem was the cross — the term "crusade" is derived from the French term for taking up the cross. Many were from France and called themselves "Franks," which became the common term used by Muslims.^[4]


The term "crusade" is also used to describe religiously motivated campaigns conducted between 1100 and 1600 in territories outside the Levant^[a] usually against pagans, heretics, and peoples under the ban of excommunication for a mixture of religious, economic, and political reasons.^[b] Rivalries among both Christian and Muslim powers led also to alliances between religious factions against their opponents, such as the Christian alliance with the Islamic Sultanate of Rûm during the Fifth Crusade.

On his Friday program, Fox News Channel’s Bill O’Reilly found yet another connection between Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke and the Democratic Party. Fluke, a so-called contraceptive advocate, rose to prominence after conservative talker Rush Limbaugh called her a ‘slut’ and a ‘prostitute’ on his radio show.

On Thursday, O’Reilly reported that Fluke was being represented by Anita Dunn’s public relations firm SKDKnickerbocker. Dunn, a former adviser to President Barack Obama, served as White House Communications Director in 2009..

O’Reilly found on Friday that Fluke is also dating the son of “Democratic stalwart” William Mutterperl, who has made numerous donations to the Democratic Party and liberal candidates in recent years.
“For six days, we have been telling you that the 30-year-old Georgetown law student has become a major player in the presidential election,” O’Reilly said during his “Talking Points Memo” segment. “Last night, we reported that she is now being handled pro bono, for free, by the PR firm SKDKnickerbocker, which is good, because Sandra doesn’t have enough money to buy birth control pills, as we know.  But there is more to Sandra’s story than just contraception.

 Right now, she’s on spring break in California with her boyfriend, who is the son of Democratic stalwart William Mutterperl. He has made at least 56 donations to Democratic candidates or organizations. Nothing wrong with that — I’m just pointing it out.”

O’Reilly then questioned whether Fluke was receiving some sort of backing in exchange for her advocacy.  Despite claiming that it is financially taxing for her to afford contraception, Fluke is somehow able to travel across the country and make numerous media appearances.
O’Reilly also noted the timing of Fluke’s rise. The law student came on the scene right when the Obama administration was being criticized for a controversial contraceptive mandate requiring some religious institutions to supply contraception against their will.

“Of course, that’s when Sandra Fluke suddenly appeared — popping up at congressional hearings, showing up in the media,” he said. “Polls show President Obama’s poll numbers among women now on the rise, and he has Ms. Fluke to thank [for] that.  If you don’t pay close attention to this story, it looks like President Obama is simply helping out a young woman under siege, but again, that’s not what’s going on here.”

Not only was Wolpe the Lewinsky family's rabbi, he also sharply condemned President Clinton at the time his sexual relationship with Lewinsky, then a 24-year-old White House intern, was dominating national headlines.

He claims Napolitano favoured Dora Schriro, who had worked as director of the Arizona Department of Corrections when Napolitano was governor of the state, for a job due to their relationship.

Hayes first worked as a border patrol agent in 1995 and then served as director of ICE Detention and Removal Operations in Washington, DC, but was demoted after Napolitano's appointment, he claims.

In February 2009, she appointed Schriro as a 'special adviser' and began pushing him out of meetings, the lawsuit says. Hayes claims that Schriro, who is now commissioner of the city Department of Correction, was not as qualified him for the role as she did not have as much law-enforcement experience.

'Schriro did have experience, however, working with Secretary Napolitano,' it writes. 'Schriro enjoyed a long-standing relationship with the secretary.'
The lawsuit does not outline the exact nature of the relationship between Napolitano and the woman she brought with her to Washington from Arizona.

It has long been rumoured that 'Big Sis' Napolitano is a lesbian, but in 2002 she publicly denied the claims.

Galvanizing conservatives Dinesh D’Souza and John Sullivan’s documentary 2016: Obama's America grossed a stellar $6.3 million as it expanded nationwide over the weekend, beating a trio of three new films.

The anti-Barack Obama film, opening last month in only a few theaters, now boasts a domestic cume of $9.2 million, the top gross of the year for a documentary (excluding nature films). Bully was the previous crownholder with $3.5 million.

Among other records, Obama's America is now the top conservative documentary of all time, beating out Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed ($7.7 million).

Obama's America -- promoted heavily on talk radio and distributed by Rocky Mountain Pictures -- timed its nationwide expansion to the Republican National Convention, which gets underway this week in Tampa, Fla.

Otherwise, it was a dismal weekend for new offerings. Holdovers dominated the box office chart, led by Lionsgate and Millennium Films' The Expendables, which grossed $13.5 million in its second weekend for a 10-day domestic cume of $52.3 million.

Sony's new Joseph Gordon-Levitt action thriller Premium Rush came in No. 8, opening to a muted $6.3 million. The film cost just north of $30 million to produce and is directed by noted screenwriter David Koepp, who co-wrote the script with John Kamps.

I am President Obama’s classmate at Columbia University, Class of ’83. I am also one of the most accurate Las Vegas oddsmakers and prognosticators. Accurate enough that I was awarded my own star on the Las Vegas Walk of Stars. And I smell something rotten in Denmark. Obama has a big skeleton in his closet. It’s his college records. Call it “gut instinct” but my gut is almost always right. Obama has a secret hidden at Columbia- and it’s a bad one that threatens to bring down his presidency. Gut instinct is how I’ve made my living for 29 years since graduating Columbia.

Obama and his infamous strategist David Axelrod understand how to play political hardball, the best it’s ever been played. Team Obama has decided to distract America’s voters by condemning Mitt Romney for not releasing enough years of his tax returns. It’s the perfect cover. Obama knows the best defense is a bold offense. Just keep attacking Mitt and blaming him for secrecy and evasion, while accusing him of having a scandal that doesn’t exist. Then ask followers like Senator Harry Reid to chase the lead. The U.S. Senate Majority Leader appears to now be making up stories out of thin air, about tax returns he knows nothing about. It’s a cynical, brilliant, and vicious strategy. Make Romney defend, so he can’t attack the real Obama scandal.

This is classic Axelrod. Obama has won several elections in his career by slandering his opponents and leaking sealed documents. Not only do these insinuations and leaks ruin the credibility and reputation of Obama’s opponents, they keep them on the defensive and off Obama’s trail of sealed documents.

By attacking Romney’s tax records, Obama’s socialist cabal creates a problem that doesn’t exist. Is the U.S. Senate Majority Leader making up stories out of thin air? You decide. But the reason for this baseless attack is clear- make Romney defend, so not only is he “off message” but it helps the media ignore the real Obama scandal.

My answer for Romney? Call Obama’s bluff.
Romney should call a press conference and issue a challenge in front of the nation. He should agree to release more of his tax returns, only if Obama unseals his college records. Simple and straight-forward. Mitt should ask “What could possibly be so embarrassing in your college records from 29 years ago that you are afraid to let America’s voters see? If it’s THAT bad, maybe it’s something the voters ought to see.” Suddenly the tables are turned. Now Obama is on the defensive.

My bet is that Obama will never unseal his records because they contain information that could destroy his chances for re-election. Once this challenge is made public, my prediction is you’ll never hear about Mitt’s tax returns ever again.

Why are the college records, of a 51-year-old President of the United States, so important to keep secret? I think I know the answer.

If anyone should have questions about Obama’s record at Columbia University, it’s me. We both graduated (according to Obama) Columbia University, Class of ’83. We were both (according to Obama) Pre-Law and Political Science majors. And I thought I knew most everyone at Columbia. I certainly thought I’d heard of all of my fellow Political Science majors. But not Obama (or as he was known then- Barry Soetoro). I never met him. Never saw him. Never even heard of him. And none of the classmates that I knew at Columbia have ever met him, saw him, or heard of him.

But don’t take my word for it. The Wall Street Journal reported in 2008 that Fox News randomly called 400 of our Columbia classmates and never found one who had ever met Obama.

Now all of this mystery could be easily and instantly dismissed if Obama released his Columbia transcripts to the media. But even after serving as President for 3 1/2 years he refuses to unseal his college records. Shouldn’t the media be as relentless in pursuit of Obama’s records as Romney’s? Shouldn’t they be digging into Obama’s past–beyond what he has written about himself–with the same boundless enthusiasm as Mitt’s?

The first question I’d ask is, if you had great grades, why would you seal your records? So let’s assume Obama got poor grades. Why not release the records? He’s president of the free world, for gosh sakes. He’s commander-in-chief of the U.S. military. Who’d care about some poor grades from three decades ago, right? So then what’s the problem? Doesn’t that make the media suspicious? Something doesn’t add up.

Secondly, if he had poor grades at Occidental, how did he get admitted to an Ivy League university in the first place? And if his grades at Columbia were awful, how’d he ever get into Harvard Law School? So again those grades must have been great, right? So why spend millions to keep them sealed?

Third, how did Obama pay for all these fancy schools without coming from a wealthy background? If he had student loans or scholarships, would he not have to maintain good grades?

I can only think of one answer that would explain this mystery.

Here’s my gut belief: Obama got a leg up by being admitted to both Occidental and Columbia as a foreign exchange student. He was raised as a young boy in Indonesia. But did his mother ever change him back to a U.S. citizen? When he returned to live with his grandparents in Hawaii or as he neared college-age preparing to apply to schools, did he ever change his citizenship back? I’m betting not.

If you could unseal Obama’s Columbia University records I believe you’d find that:
A)   He rarely ever attended class.
B)   His grades were not those typical of what we understand it takes to get into Harvard Law School.
C)   He attended Columbia as a foreign exchange student.
D)   He paid little for either undergraduate college or Harvard Law School because of foreign aid and scholarships given to a poor foreign students like this kid Barry Soetoro from Indonesia.
If you think I’m “fishing” then prove me wrong. Open up your records Mr. President. What are you afraid of?
If it’s okay for U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to go on a fishing expedition about Romney’s taxes (even though he knows absolutely nothing about them nor will release his own), then I think I can do the same thing. But as Obama’s Columbia Class of ’83 classmate, at least I have more standing to make educated guesses.
It’s time for Mitt to go on the attack and call Obama’s bluff.

Obama quietly eases the rules for getting welfare assistance. The HHS department rewrites the rules for determining eligibility for welfare.

It was revealed late last week through a Health and Human Services memo that the Obama administration is planning to quietly reform, and as Republicans allege unilaterally gut, the 1996 Welfare Reform Bill. Under the new reforms, states would be allowed to request waivers for the work requirements for welfare recipients that were at the foundation of the 1996 bill.

“This is a brazen and unwarranted unraveling of welfare reform,” Michigan Republican and Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee  Rep. David Camp told the Washington Times. “This ends welfare reform as we know it.”

The Times notes that the new policy would allow states to launch their own welfare reform projects,during which they would not have to require that recipients work.

The Obama administration does not have the ability to waive the work requirement by themselves, but can waive another section of the act that includes language requiring states to enforce the work requirement. On “Real News” Tuesday the panel discussed the possible reform to welfare policy and the administration’s legal authority to waive the work requirement.

Covey died early Monday morning at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls from the residual effects of a bicycle accident in April, his family said. He was 80 years old.

Covey, who after his early success went on to write a string of books playing off the "7 Habits" themes that reportedly sold more than 20 million copies in 38 languages, became a management guru for companies and government agencies. Vernon Jarrett clearly watched the rise of Obama as an activist. When Obama worked for Project Vote to register black voters with the intent of aiding the senatorial campaign of Carol Moseley Braun, Jones took note. Obama later took over Braun’s Senate seat.
Writing in the Chicago Sun-Times in 1992, Jarrett noted: “Good news! Good news! Project Vote, a collectivity of 10 church-based community organizations dedicated to black voter registration, is off and running. … If Project Vote is to reach its goal of registering 150,000 out of an estimated 400,000 unregistered blacks statewide, ‘it must average 10,000 rather than 7,000 every week,’ says Barack Obama, the program’s executive director.”

Valerie Jarrett married Vernon’s son, William Robert Jarrett, in 1983.
In 1987, she got her start in politics, working for Washington as deputy corporation counsel for finance and development. She was deputy chief of staff for Mayor Richard Daley, during which time she hired Michelle Robinson, then engaged to Obama.
Valerie Jarrett went on to run the finances for Obama’s Senate bid in 2004, the year Vernon Jarrett died.

WHO IS VALERIE JARRETT?

The media report Valerie Jarrett is the Obamas closest friend and White House advisor and they don't make a move without consulting her.

For many years, Valerie managed the Grove Parc apartment complex in south Chicago. It consists of 504 apartments. Ninety-nine are vacant and uninhabitable. Mice are rampant. Roofs have collapsed. Sewage seeps into kitchen sinks. It is a dangerous place. It is located in the legislative district which Obama represented for eight years in the Illinois Senate.

Grove Parc tenants feel their senator could have done more for them. Their efforts are to keep Grove Parc from being demolished, as the locale is convenient, and to obtain a new management company to rehabilitate the apartments.

The complex is managed by The Habitat Executive Services, Inc. of which Valerie was the Vice President, President and then CEO for 12 years preceding her ascent to the White House. During her tenure Federal inspectors in 2003 rated Grove Parc 82 positive points out of 100; in 2005 only 56 of a 100; and in 2006 a scant 11 of a hundred. She also co-managed an even larger subsidized complex which was seized by the federal government in 2006 after city inspectors found widespread problems.
In a 2009 report Valeries previous year's management income was $300,000 and $550,000 in deferred compensation from The Habitat Executive Services, Inc. (The Wall Street Journal also reported she disclosed payments of more then $346,000 for service on boards of directors that reflect her political ties, and work in Chicago real estate and community development. She was paid $76,000 for service as a director of a Chicago-based global consulting group with governmental clients. She received $146,600 from thre United States Government and $58,000 to serve on the board of Rreef American REIT II, a real estate investment trust based in San Francisco. The Chicago Stock Exchange, Inc., paid her $34,444.)

In explanation of her management record at The Habitat Executive Services, Inc. Valerie explained it's difficult to manage something you don't own.

As an Illinois Senator in alignment with Chicago Mayor Daly and now as President, Obama does not favor public housing but public-private housing development. The government gives money to developers, to build public housing. Obama's close friends and political supporters profited greatly as they became developers. Included among them is Allison Davis, a law associate, Antoin Tony  Rezko, et. al. The latter, Rezko, renovated 1,000 apartments, refused management, and the apartments are uninhabitable.


When the construction is completed, the apartments are managed by a private management company, such as Valerie's The Habitat Executive Services, and not a government entity. The government pays for construction as well as the management company. As the government pays the rent and the inhabitants have no other place to go, there is no incentive for the management company to make repairs or to attract new renters. In the end the properties become uninhabitable and are abandoned.
The newspaper, The Boston Globe, found thousands of abandoned, uninhabitable apartments across Chicago which were built with government subsidies. Several hundred found in (Senator) Obama's district deteriorated to the point they were no longer habitable.

In some cases where the buildings become uninhabitable, new government money is provided to rehabilitate the buildings and the cycle repeats.
President Obama touts The National Affordable Trust Fund Act (HR 2895) passed by the both houses in 07 and08 which Maxine Waters and Barney Frank state $800 million to $1 billion will be spent annually: (Waters) without increasing government spending or the deficit and (Frank) paid for in ways that do not draw on federal tax revenues. HR 2895 does not state where the money will come from.
The Boston Globe reports the money will come from the income profits of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac at $500 million annually and as in Illinois the money will be paid to private developers. This follows through with Obama's campaign promises. Critics say the sapping of such large amounts of income imperils the financial levels of both institutions.

The above information was taken from the Boston Globe which published a series of articles on Chicago housing. None of it was picked up and reported on by ABC, NBC or CBS.
A number of States have Trust Funds for low cost housing but construction and management are by government entities, not as in Chicago by developers and private management companies.

While awaiting his trial, he was released on bond. Officials say that's when he attacked a second woman who had brought her car to the garage where he worked as a mechanic. Police say Urbina raped and killed 22-year-old Gabriella Torres, whose burned body was found in the trunk of a car.
Urbina was last seen two years ago, according to the FBI. He has family in the Chicago area, but may also be residing Mexico, where he was born. He is not an American citizen and he came across the border illegally, police said, using a different name.
Wherever he is, officials warn he should be considered armed and dangerous.

On July 20, 1999, a federal arrest warrant was issued for Urbina and on August 26, 2006, a provisional arrest warrant was signed by a Mexican Federal Magistrate.
Urbina, who is a Mexican national, is described as a Hispanic/male, 37 years of age, 6'0" tall, medium build, weighing approximately 170 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and a severely pockmarked right cheek. He has been known to use numerous aliases, including the names Lorenzo Maes, Fernando Ramos and Fidel Urbina Aquirre.

Chicago FBI officials say they first asked to have Urbina on the list of the Most Wanted two years ago.
"We will keep hunting for him until he's dead or in somebody's hands," Grant said. "That's the way you get off the top ten list."
A reward of up to $100,000 is being offered for information leading to the location and arrest of URBINA. Anyone recognizing him or having any information as to his current whereabouts is asked to call the Chicago FBI at (312) 421-6700 or your nearest law enforcement agency.

words of wisdom from Rep. Joe Walsh

 I seen the video,  words of wisdom from Rep. Joe Walsh, R-Ill.,

Last week at a Town Hall meeting,  Rep Joe Walsh told constituents the Democratic Party wants Hispanics and blacks to be dependent on government and also said civil rights leader Jesse Jackson wants the same thing.

"Jesse Jackson would be out of work if (blacks) weren't dependent on government," Walsh said.

On Friday, Walsh had the opportunity to apologize on the "Big John & Amy" radio show but instead, as reported by the Chicagoist, he stepped in even deeper saying, "All Jesse Jackson is trying to do is to keep African-Americans down on some plantation." 

Walsh's bigotry is not only disheartening, it's wrong. He's following a number of Republicans who seem to believe nonwhites make up the majority of Americans who are on welfare. Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum have made similar comments, and in January, the Chicago Tribune reported statistics that fly in the face of the stereotypical image of the "black 'welfare mother' having out-of-wedlock babies so she can stay home and live large off the taxpayers." 

The majority of food stamp recipients are white, but these bigoted men seem to be incapable of comprehending the reality in America today. Many Republicans seem to want to blame the state of the economy on government public assistance programs, but perhaps they're just trying to shift the blame from the real culprit: corporate welfare. 

Conservatives seem to have a problem helping individuals and families in true need, but they don't have a problem with big tax breaks to rich corporations. 

Gingrich had the gall to comment that black Americans should demand jobs, but not food stamps, yet according to the Washington Examiner, his consulting firm received $1.6 million in fees from the government-sponsored enterprise Freddie Mac. 

Gingrich, Walsh and the majority of conservatives seem to pick and choose when they want the government's help and when they don't to suit their agenda. They drive the same government-funded highways we all do, and also rely on firefighters and police to protect us.
