I just heard this phase for the first and it really does explain media bias regarding Obama.
It's just hints of a racial angle that the news / media seems to be following. They are definitely pro Obama and are using the communications channel to promote him.

One example I can recall is when the Catholic Bishops filed suit against Obama care due to their basic religious beliefs regrading abortions and birth control. I thought this was a major headline story , but the media just ignored it, not one station reporting on it. This is a definite of the "blackout".

Even though he was only there for a year, under Carmona’s watch the Pima County Health System saw their debt increase by 28 percent and he was forced to resign.

As the Associated Press reports:

 “The Pima County Healthcare system’s debt has jumped 28 percent in the last year and is expected to top $46 million by the end of the fiscal year in June. … [Richard Carmona] the embattled head of the Pima Healthcare system offered his resignation on the eve of a board of supervisors meeting at which he might have been fired.” (“Pima County’s Health Care Debt Growing,” The Associated Press, 4/28/99) 

"Just like his recruiter President Barack Obama, Richard Carmona knows how to drive an organization like the Pima County Health System deeper into debt,” said Arizona Republican Party spokesman Tim Sifert.  “Given Carmona’s big spending ways, it’s clear that if he gets back to Washington he’ll just be a reliable vote for President Obama’s agenda of more spending and higher taxes."

California bans a cure for gayism ?

GOVERNOR Jerry Brown has signed legislation that makes California the first state to ban a controversial form of psychotherapy that's aimed at making gay teenagers straight. 

Effective January 1, mental health practitioners are prohibited from performing sexual orientation change efforts - known as reparative or conversion therapy - for anyone under 18.

The therapies "have no basis in science or medicine and they will now be relegated to the dustbin of quackery," Mr Brown said in a statement.



But some organisations and ministries continue to use counselling and prayer to try to help conflicted Christians rid themselves of unwanted homosexual inclinations. Gay rights activists have said the damage they inflict on individuals can be deep and lasting and can put youth at higher risk of depression and suicide.


Conservative religious groups and some Republicans have argued that banning conversion therapy would hinder parents' right to provide psychological care for children experiencing gender confusion.

The Encino, California-based National Association for Research and Therapy on Homosexuality said in August that the bill was a case of "legislative overreach." They said Democratic state Senator Ted Lieu's claims of harm to children were based on politics, not research.

Mr Lieu, who sponsored the bill, said the law will stop children from being psychologically abused.

Congressman Raul Grijalva has represented the people of Arizona in the 7th district since 2002.  The redistricting process following the 2010 census now makes Rep. Grijalva the incumbent for the new 3^rd congressional district serving the people of southern Arizona.
Currently, Rep. Grijalva co-chairs the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC), the largest membership organization within the Democratic Caucus in the U.S. Congress with as many as 76 members, founded in 1991.  He is also an Advisory Board Member for the “Progressive Democrats of America” (PDA), an organization founded in 2004.  The goals of both the CPC and PDA are to take the Democratic Party further to the left in domestic and foreign policy.  Their mission and goals are to advance “progressive” liberal issues and positions.

Disturbingly, the mission and goals of the CPC and PDA sound remarkably similar to the desires of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA).  Let’s take a closer look at the platforms for each of these groups:
CPC’s “The Progressive Promise”: Fairness for all.  Here are their four core principles:
1.  Fighting for Economic Justice and Security in the U.S. and Global Economies
2.  Protecting and Preserving Civil Rights and Civil Liberties
3.  Promoting Global Peace and Security
4.  Advancing Environmental Protection & Energy Independence

Here are a few excerpts from these core principles…

“To uphold the right to universal access to affordable, high quality healthcare for all…to preserve guaranteed Social Security benefits for All Americans…to ensure working families can live above the poverty line and with dignity by raising and indexing the minimum wage…to ensure enforcement of all legal rights in the workplace…to eliminate all forms of discrimination based upon color, race, religion, gender, creed, disability, or sexual orientation”.

Here are a few excerpts from the CPUSA’s Constitution:

“Our party fights for jobs and economic security, a decent and rising standard of living…health care, education, affordable housing, the needs of seniors, democracy, and a fulfilling life for everyone, with socialism as our goal”.

Socialism.  How could we forget the comments made by Rep. Maxine Waters, member of the CPC, to the president of Shell Oil during a House hearing back in May 2008.  View video here

“And guess what this member would be all about?  This member would be all about socializing, uh [pauses for several moments]…would be about [pause] basically taking over, and the government running all of your companies.”

Here is another excerpt from the CPUSA’s Constitution that seems to be consonant with the desires of Rep. Maxine Waters.

“Only through the abolition of the capitalist system and the socialist reorganization of society can exploitation of human beings by others, and the evils of oppression, war, racism, environmental degradation, and poverty be ended…the working class as the necessary leading force along with the other core forces – who united together have the power to make fundamental progressive change”.

There’s that popular word “progressive,” right there in the Constitution of the CPUSA.  Let’s look at why Progressive Democrats of America was formed in 2004.  Taken right from their home page, their statement reads:

“Progressive Democrats of America was founded in 2004 to transform the  Democratic Party and our country. We seek to build a party and government controlled by citizens, not corporate elites-with policies that serve the broad public interest, not just private interests. As a grassroots PAC operating inside the Democratic Party, and outside in movements for peace and justice, PDA played a key role in the stunning electoral victories of November 2006 and 2008.  Our inside/outside strategy is guided by the belief that a lasting majority will require a revitalized Democratic Party built on firm progressive principles.”

As the furthest-left member of Congress, Rep. Raul Grijalva has made it clear, though his statements, votes, and actions, that he believes in many of the same goals and tactics in obtaining these goals, as do those in the CPUSA.  Recently, at an event in Tucson where Grijalva was giving a speech in celebration of winning his primary race for CD3 on August 28, 2012, Grijalva said the following:

“So this is the beginning, on the legislative level, and the state, and congressional level… to begin to fundamentally change the political culture of this state…and I am so excited to participate in that process [pause]…we feel that Arizona and the district that I intend to represent is going to be pivotal in beginning to change the culture of this state.”

Millions of freedom-loving Americans understand that the real threat to our freedom comes from our elected members of Congress like Raul Grijalva and Ed Pastor of Arizona, Maxine Waters of California, and all the other CPC members who are like wolves in sheep clothing preying on the freedom of the American people with their agenda to claim power and control over the people in the name of economic and social justice, where security is traded for prosperity and freedom.
Even Rep. Allen West of Florida, one of our strongest and most out-spoken leaders for conservatism, seems to think that members of the CPC have the same agenda as our fellow Americans in the CPUSA.  Watch the video here.

The Crusades were a series of religious expeditionary wars blessed by Pope Urban II and the Catholic Church, with the stated goal of restoring Christian access to the holy places in and near Jerusalem. Jerusalem was and is a sacred city and symbol of all three major Abrahamic faiths (Judaism, Christianity and Islam).^[1] The background to the Crusades was set when the Seljuk Turks decisively defeated the Byzantine army in 1071 and cut off Christian access to Jerusalem. The Byzantine emperor, Alexis I feared that all Asia Minor would be overrun. He called on western Christian leaders and the papacy to come to the aid of Constantinople by undertaking a pilgrimage or a crusade that would free Jerusalem from Muslim rule.^[2] Another cause was the destruction of many Christian sacred sites and the persecution of Christians under the Fatimid caliph Al-Hakim.


The crusaders comprised military units of Roman Catholics from all over western Europe, and were not under unified command. The main series of Crusades, primarily against Muslims in the Levant, occurred between 1095 and 1291. Historians have given many of the earlier crusades numbers. After some early successes, the later crusades failed and the crusaders were defeated and forced to return home. Several hundred thousand soldiers became Crusaders by taking vows;^[3] the Pope granted them plenary indulgence. Their emblem was the cross — the term "crusade" is derived from the French term for taking up the cross. Many were from France and called themselves "Franks," which became the common term used by Muslims.^[4]


The term "crusade" is also used to describe religiously motivated campaigns conducted between 1100 and 1600 in territories outside the Levant^[a] usually against pagans, heretics, and peoples under the ban of excommunication for a mixture of religious, economic, and political reasons.^[b] Rivalries among both Christian and Muslim powers led also to alliances between religious factions against their opponents, such as the Christian alliance with the Islamic Sultanate of Rûm during the Fifth Crusade.

On his Friday program, Fox News Channel’s Bill O’Reilly found yet another connection between Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke and the Democratic Party. Fluke, a so-called contraceptive advocate, rose to prominence after conservative talker Rush Limbaugh called her a ‘slut’ and a ‘prostitute’ on his radio show.

On Thursday, O’Reilly reported that Fluke was being represented by Anita Dunn’s public relations firm SKDKnickerbocker. Dunn, a former adviser to President Barack Obama, served as White House Communications Director in 2009..

O’Reilly found on Friday that Fluke is also dating the son of “Democratic stalwart” William Mutterperl, who has made numerous donations to the Democratic Party and liberal candidates in recent years.
“For six days, we have been telling you that the 30-year-old Georgetown law student has become a major player in the presidential election,” O’Reilly said during his “Talking Points Memo” segment. “Last night, we reported that she is now being handled pro bono, for free, by the PR firm SKDKnickerbocker, which is good, because Sandra doesn’t have enough money to buy birth control pills, as we know.  But there is more to Sandra’s story than just contraception.

 Right now, she’s on spring break in California with her boyfriend, who is the son of Democratic stalwart William Mutterperl. He has made at least 56 donations to Democratic candidates or organizations. Nothing wrong with that — I’m just pointing it out.”

O’Reilly then questioned whether Fluke was receiving some sort of backing in exchange for her advocacy.  Despite claiming that it is financially taxing for her to afford contraception, Fluke is somehow able to travel across the country and make numerous media appearances.
O’Reilly also noted the timing of Fluke’s rise. The law student came on the scene right when the Obama administration was being criticized for a controversial contraceptive mandate requiring some religious institutions to supply contraception against their will.

“Of course, that’s when Sandra Fluke suddenly appeared — popping up at congressional hearings, showing up in the media,” he said. “Polls show President Obama’s poll numbers among women now on the rise, and he has Ms. Fluke to thank [for] that.  If you don’t pay close attention to this story, it looks like President Obama is simply helping out a young woman under siege, but again, that’s not what’s going on here.”

Rabbi David Wolpe of Los Angeles' Sinai Temple, where Monica Lewinsky and her family were congregation members for decades and where Lewinsky attended religious school, is scheduled to deliver the benediction at the Democratic National Convention tonight - not long after Bill Clinton speaks.

Not only was Wolpe the Lewinsky family's rabbi, he also sharply condemned President Clinton at the time his sexual relationship with Lewinsky, then a 24-year-old White House intern, was dominating national headlines.

Reports from 2009 stated that Suzanne Barr ‘removed the entire contents of the offices of three male employees, including nameplates,computers and telephones, to the men’s bathroom at ICE headquarters’.


Suzanne Barr, a 1995 graduate of the University of Arizona, was among Napolitano's first appointments after she became secretary in 2009. Barr started working for Napolitano in 2004, while Napolitano was governor of Arizona.

He claims Napolitano favoured Dora Schriro, who had worked as director of the Arizona Department of Corrections when Napolitano was governor of the state, for a job due to their relationship.

Hayes first worked as a border patrol agent in 1995 and then served as director of ICE Detention and Removal Operations in Washington, DC, but was demoted after Napolitano's appointment, he claims.

In February 2009, she appointed Schriro as a 'special adviser' and began pushing him out of meetings, the lawsuit says. Hayes claims that Schriro, who is now commissioner of the city Department of Correction, was not as qualified him for the role as she did not have as much law-enforcement experience.

'Schriro did have experience, however, working with Secretary Napolitano,' it writes. 'Schriro enjoyed a long-standing relationship with the secretary.'
The lawsuit does not outline the exact nature of the relationship between Napolitano and the woman she brought with her to Washington from Arizona.

It has long been rumoured that 'Big Sis' Napolitano is a lesbian, but in 2002 she publicly denied the claims.

Barr is accused of sexually inappropriate behavior toward employees. The complaints are related to a sexual discrimination and retaliation lawsuit filed by a senior ICE agent in May.
